Check the other computers in your house to see if their internet is slow, too—if the problem only happens on one computer, the problem is that computer, not your router or modem. Often times, you may have multiple devices using the same modem, and that could slow it down. Try to set up a schedule for each device to access the internet, or ask for a higher level DSL.
in other cases, you may turn off your modem for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. The DSL LED light should start blinking shortly, and thereafter start holding steady (not blinking). If the DSL light does not come on, make sure the telephone line is plugged into the DSL port of the splitter.
If all else fails, call us and we will be more than happy to help you. You may also test your internet speeds using this link: mati.speedtest.net
Often times, people use other WiFi access points, and it will forget the password to other access points (in this case, your home modem.)
in this case, check your WiFi settings on your device. The SSID and Pass phrase is on the bottom of the modem and on the box it came in.
If you are having a problem connection to the WiFi still, ensure that you do get a proper connection with a ethernet cable to your desktop computer or laptop. If you have a working internet connection, then check your antennas on your modem; they may be broken.
